Foster homes are urgently needed!
We are faced with the reality of having to turn away Dobermans and we desperately need your help. There are dogs we cannot help because we simply do not have enough foster homes. Before you decide that fostering isn't for you PLEASE take a moment and check out our Spring Newsletter, it contains facts about fostering you may not have realized and testimonials from those of us that do foster. IT'S TIME FOR OUR 7TH ANNUAL DOBERFEST!

JOIN US SEPTEMBER 13TH  FROM 10AM - 4PM AT BARK TIL DARK DOG PARK FOR A HOWLIN GREAT TIME.  In addition to adoptions we will also have music, food, pet photography, raffles, nail trimming*, Canine Good Citizen testing*, micro chipping* and much, much more. Bark Til Dark is located at 1277 Hills-Miller Rd. in Delaware, Ohio. They have a 5 acre off leash dog park with a pond, small dog area and agility course.  A donation of $10.00 per dog is required at admission. All dogs and owners (children under 12 not allowed) are welcome but they must be social,  spayed or neutered and be current on their shots including rabies, bordatella and DHLPPC.  Proof of spay/neuter and current shot records must be provided at time of entrance to the park. For speedier entry into the park please RSVP to HMDDAdoptions@yahoo.com and include your proof of spay/neuter and current shots. Or you can fax this information to 419-525-4376. You must also  include the names of your dogs and people attending with your fax/email.  * There is a fee for the following services - Canine Good Citizen testing $10.00, Micro Chipping $35.00 and nail trimming is a minimum $5.00 donation. All proceeds benefit Hand Me Down Dobes, Inc. HMDD is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductable. Wish List Drop Off!! Remember to bring an item or 2 from the HMDD wish list . There will be a drop off site at the event. Please remember that your contributions go a long way in enhancing the lives of the dogs in this program. PLEASE NOTE: You must be an approved adopter before you can take your new Dobe home with you. The first step in becoming an approved adopter is completing our Adoption Application.

That need may be financial or just giving information and/or moral support for the owner of a Doberman with a serious illness or injury.
